Marin Advantage Program (MAP)

Our goal is to promote educational equity across Marin County and to support students who would be best served by the °µÍø½âÃÜ educational experience. This effective collaboration between our partners and °µÍø½âÃÜ will provide students with the opportunity to chart a path from High School to College and realize their educational and professional goals through accessing MAP’s network of support. This network includes:

  • a guaranteed scholarship for students enrolling in all majors except nursing at °µÍø½âÃÜ.
  • access to unit-bearing college courses during high school. MAP-affiliated students can register for summer classes at °µÍø½âÃÜ.
  • invitations to summer leadership trainings and/or bridge programming.
  • access to an integrated system of support from °µÍø½âÃÜ integrative coaches advisors, mentors and peers.
  • opportunities for personal growth through service-learning programs that benefit students - and provide new perspectives on - their own community.
  • and access to local internships and networking opportunities.

MAP Summer Course Offerings

Students from MAP partner organizations are eligible to apply for (1) MAP summer course. Course takes place Tuesdays-Thursdays, June 17 - July 10.

  • ENG 1111 Writing and Rhetoric (4 units)

Eligible graduating high school seniors from partner organizations can apply for the undergraduate MAP Scholarship. Students are not required to take a MAP summer course to be eligible for the MAP Scholarship.
