The U.S. News & World Report 2021 Best Colleges guidebook has once again ranked �������� as one of the top regional universities in the west.

The ranking comes only a week after �������� was named the nation’s most transformative four-year university by the American Council on Education (ACE) in recognition of a deep commitment to student opportunity and success.

U.S. News ranked �������� 24th out of regional universities in the western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Alaska. Regional universities provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs.

U.S. News incorporates criteria such as peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.

• Being named a 2020-2021 College of Distinction by the Colleges of Distinction guide, which assess colleges and universities in several categories, including engaged students, great teaching, vibrant community, and successful outcomes. �������� also received specialized recognition from Colleges of Distinction for innovation in four specific areas:
