°µÍø½âÃÜ is ranked 18 in the Best Regional Universities (West) category of the U.S. News & World Report 2023-2024 Best Colleges guide. The ranking reflects °µÍø½âÃÜ’s strength in academic quality and graduate outcomes. Measures included in the ranking were graduation rates, faculty resources, social mobility, peer opinion, and retention rates.

The western region includes California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Alaska. Regional universities provide a full range of undergraduate and master's programs.

The university also was ranked as a top performer on social mobility in the Regional Universities (West) category. °µÍø½âÃÜ was included in both the Best Undergraduate Business Programs and Best Nursing Schools categories.
